Hi! I’m Sara. I’m a veteran of the Philadelphia restaurant scene, where I’ve worked in both savory and pastry kitchens, as well as several front-of-house positions. I began my culinary career as the pastry chef at the Franklin Fountain and was the opening pastry chef for Little Nonna’s and Aldine restaurants. I’ve worked in the kitchens of Vedge, Bing Bing Dim Sum, Hungry Pigeon, South Hill Cider, Main Street Market and Bloomsday, and I was the sous chef of Grateful Plate Meal Delivery & Catering. In 2013, I was awarded the Rising Star Artisan Award from StarChefs for my work at The Franklin Fountain.
I currently work as an event coordinator, private chef and recipe developer. A graduate of the Natural Gourmet Institute, my cooking is rooted in whole foods, accessible ingredients and a robust sense of fun.
My happy place is breaking down fresh fruit to bake into something delicious, my favorite sweets are salty and I think the best meal of the day is breakfast.
